I've been using Google mail (gmail) for years. Obviously, I use picasa also to store my photos. Currently, I am having a problem with my (mostly email) accounts. It almost reaches the 15 GB limit. I use my gmail as my main communication media. Students sending assignments are kept in my mailboxes. Every semester I have betweet 30 to 100 students and I've been teaching more than 15 years. The storage is definitely becoming a problem. What bugs me is that I have only 8000 (or so) mails in my mailbox and that has reached the maximum free storage capacity. What to do? Delete emails? Or, should I upgrade the free account to the paid one?

Gmail has just enabled/changed its user interface. There is one thing that bugs me and I think this should be corrected. If you reply to an email, the body of the replied email is quoted at the bottom of the email. This makes the reply by default a " top posting " reply. It's a no no in netiquette. This is just plain wrong. Don't the designers know this (top posting)? They should not make this the default setting. This could be an optoin that the user has to enable it if one wishes. Or, is top posting unrelevant now? I feel like a dinosaur, now.

I've just visited Google.com and got the following page: Ah... It has been a while since I used Morse code. Now, let's give it a try. I put [--. --- --- --. .-.. .] in the search field of Google. The result is ... Your search - --. --- --- --. .-.. . - did not match any documents. How come there's no match? Google should provide the search result in Morse code. Ha ha ha. Any takers out there? -... ..- -.. ..
